On August 28, 1949, four Sisters of Mercy arrived at St. Anthonys Convent at 12 Maple Ave in West Warwick late morning. They were Sister Alicia, Principal, Sisters Dionysius, Ann-Cecilia and Margretta.
During the 20 year history of the school, four principals served the school. They were Sisters Alicia, Benigna, Irene and Vivian.
